Sweetcie Pie Apple Pie Recipe

This is the recipe that started it all.  It was developed over a period of 6 months with the express intent of launching my pie business in 2014.  For a pie business to be successful, the Apple Pie had to be good.
 
Now you can make Sweetcie Pie's Apple Pie pie at home.  This recipe relies on apples you enjoy eating fresh.  Do not use sour apples like Granny Smith.  Sour apples require a different recipe.
 
This recipe includes instructions for the pastry dough and apple filling.   This is the original recipe that I use to make and sell Apple Pies.  The pie that I sell today also includes sprouted Sonora wheat and sourdough culture in the crust. I decided to leave these components out of the published recipe, as they are not commonly available.
